ok.. i just watched the first 7 episodes....

....& well..
it has been so good in so many ways.. {i am quite picky with shows to really invest my time & emotion with so i will say this.. i am here because of shows like 'lie to me' & basically other rad detectivey type shows.. more now of heist-y.. mystery.. art-related.. somewhat ocean's.. somewhat thomas crown-esque styles of show with a lovely nod to 'catch me if you can' here it seems i have landed..} anyway having explained that & my recent enjoyment for such viewing.. i am here for a moment just to say.. well nothing really.. {i am actually freaking out slightly.. hehe! maybe lack of sleeps whilst sick the past couple of days hence a big watch all in a row.. oui mais bien sûr! ^_-}.. but also the bond between peter & neal as characters has been everything.. & well.. i am procrastinating watching the next episode.. perhaps even thinking of leaving it.. aaaah!
it has been a really wonderful 7 episodes.. like watching a really long brilliant film in just the genre i felt like at the right moment..
ok.. i know i will probably keep going.. but it better be amazing.. i went in with no expectations.. & i have loved almost every bit.. a rare thing.. {i may have to come back to list some of my very favourite series}.. or possibly the fact that i have been taking cold & flu relief medication of some sort.. aaah.. i must sleep soon.. get an early night!
well.. please be lovely people out there.. be kind & gentle if you have a reply..
i am sure it will still be great.. other recommendations welcome.. anyway.. it has been a long week & i need a good new show to escape into.. ^_^

The show only gets better. Don't give up. Very intricate relationships are formed.

Looks like you are enjoying the show! Reminds me of myself when I first discovered this show and was slightly obsessed and sort of surprised at my obsession since I seldom get that way with shows or actors. I still obsessed with Matt Bomer and follow him from show to show, movie to movie! LOL.

Anyway, the show only keeps getting better and more enjoyable! Keep going! You're right, it's a great escape. We all need that from time to time. Get a glass and wine and enjoy:) You have 5 more seasons to look forward to! I'm jealous!

@stockarb1 & @ArtAesthetics :: thank you to both of you for the kind & positive replies..
i meant to reply myself much sooner.. i have been taking it slow..
i was actually sipping some armangac {such a rarity but what a synchronous moment} as it was first mentioned on the show.. when over a bottle moz & neal apparently came up with their not-so-perfect exchange.. it was brilliant! i think it was the episode 'by the book'.. which was amazing.. i was & still am absolutely in love with the whole feel of the show.. it is as close to perfection as it can get & i love every episode.. some i just adore.. they make my own little world come alive.. i am never bored with it.. & as it is so good.. i have decided to indeed sip it as slowly as possible.. because i feel for me.. nothing will necessarily come close.. plus the best is already happening.. & right now i am already in series three!
anyway.. i adore mozzie.. how he got his name.. neal.. oh neal.. neal & peter.. peter & el.. el & moz.. the beauty of neal's character.. his way.. his flaws.. his genuine kindnesses.. i love to escape with him.. trapped between two worlds.. & trying to be true to himself & what he loves..
i am glad to still be watching.. it is beautiful..
there are too many gore-filled shows.. this is more than a breath of fresh air.. it is like breathing magic.. it is masterful.. such a wondrous fictional world i love visiting.. ^_^ be kind to one another lovely people..

Love how beautifully and perfectly you described Neal!

Gosh, I LOVE him!

Enjoy the show and the Armangac!

And when you finish the show, let us know what you thought of the end.

Natalichka...This show has become one of my favorite shows of all time because of everything you have said. I never get sick of watching this show! I think some episodes I have seen maybe 20 times now. I love the pilot to the final episode "Au Revoir" and everything else in between. The chemistry of the characters and the film making of this show is off-the-charts! I don't think there will be another show like it...ever! Please let us know what your favorite episode is, so we all can compare.
Keep watching White Collar and enjoy!☺

hi there again.. & oh goodness me.. such a show.. such a world to escape to.. ^_^
::::
hello @Lynnagolina :: nice to hear you are watching it with someone you love.. i hope you both enjoy it again.. i am sure it will be excellent.. ^_^
i just finished series five..
i just missed it somehow until last month.. when i first began..
i do like & watch a lot of british television.. i think it is wonderful to see & appreciate certain differences.. primarily the greatness of an iconic city.. the focus on a big metropolis like new york or london town.. although small towns for example.. like cicely in alaska can be amazingly beautiful.. 'northern exposure' it was & still is a brilliant show.. i watched it when i was very young & still adore it.. its artistic beauty.. deep thinking.. warmth.. simplicity & cultural portrayals are greatness.. & different characters.. well.. it is an acquired taste.. but a lovely one i do recommend.. ^_^
sorry for the rambling there..
hello also @ArtAesthetics :: thank you kindly.. i adore him too.. ^_^
the character that is neal is truly beautiful & i feel so deeply with him as i watch.. the writers & everyone who created him.. the actor himself of course.. not making him just all about looks & sex.. making him deeper.. smarter.. tangible & fragile enough despite such strength is a real art.. it has been done brilliantly.. i will let you know when i finish it all.. i am so deeply in love with it so i am trying ever so much to pace myself.. without much luck.. hehe.. ^_^
ooh & hello also @blackmickey45 :: you are right as i have not disliked any episode at all.. a rare thing indeed.. again it shows the quality of this & its particular niche.. will indeed let you know my favourite episode.. i have watched the pilot twice.. it was very good.. but i am so wrapped up in a whirlwind romance with it that i will need to go back & think about it.. of course rewatch too.. ^_^
anyway :: so i am holding back as much as possible.. however.. since beginning to type this.. i may have slipped & watched series six episode one.. 'borrowed time'.. with a special salad niçoise to enjoy..
i was on the verge of tears through it all..
especially with the simple scene of moz & suit/peter sitting quietly together over dinner..
that is what i adore about it..
the things that are said & not said.. & what is to be read between the lines of these epic relationships..
all of it really on "borrowed time".. i know for me another show will not be the same..
it is as close to perfection.. & in saying that.. which is a big statement.. i will try to slowly stall before i see the few precious episodes i do have left..
neal's raw optimism beneath his façade fills me with joy.. his heart is so often on his sleeve.. as hard as he has been hurt.. the group characters are all just a nonsensical & magnificent fit.. from their little connections of trust that have grown to be strong.. to the depth & complexity of peter & neal..
lovely to enjoy it & share a little about it here.. thank you for all the kind words of encouragement & just general niceness.. ^_^
i look forward to watching the precious little parts i have left..
be kind to one another out there lovely people.. ^_^

hello to whoever is reading..
i have loved watching this series so far.. i really did watch a lot quickly.. within weeks i had finished up to the start of the fifth series or so.. i then got up to the final series.. to the final few episodes.. but i didn't want it to end.. & almost like a rare bottle of something magickal.. i put a metaphorical stopper in the decanter of whatever it is i was theoretically drinking..
i went back to an old series i love & watched some other things.. started learning a new language.. got some good sleep.. etc.
then.. a couple of days ago.. i decided to go back to that decanter.. but i had had this break.. it was all still there.. unfinished & fine.. so.. after almost watching the final few there & then.. i started from the pilot episode & just kept going again.. this magic potion of a show deserved more of my focus.. & that is some serious love people.. hehe.. more than the regular 'je ne sais quoi'.. ^_-
so.. i am indeed now watching it all for a second time.. with joy in my heart & the view to a wonderful ending.. no matter what that may be.. & for whatever its faults are.. it is a brilliantly done show in so many ways.. the decanter to it is back open.. & the escape to the world inside the tonic of this show feels amazing..
i will try to pace myself & enjoy the goodness.. i do watch a vast variety of things truly.. but this for me.. it is as close as a television series could come to something as euphoric as.. say.. well.. painting a luminous watercolour whilst sitting on a cloud.. ^_^

Natakichka...I love how you explain your love for this show like no one else!

Reading what you have written makes me image myself visiting Neal's apartment, sitting on the terrace with that majestical view of Manhattan, reading the newspaper, discussing the paintings of Renoir, Degas,Toulouse Lautrec, etc...,and sipping my cappuccino with Neal "in the clouds". Ah...what a wonderful thing!
I would love to personally thank the shows creator Jeff Eastin for creating such a wonderful show-casting, the sets, and the stories that make me watch over & over again.
I will link you to a great behind-the-scenes tour of this great show with Willie Garson(Mozzie)and something fun. I think you will get a kick out of it!

au revoir.. le fin..
it was brilliant!
i will write a little more of my thoughts soon for those of you who adore it too..
::::
also.. a belated reply to you @blackmickey45 - merci bien pour les videos.. the links were indeed most enjoyable.. i waited in the world of the show before watching any out-takes etc. wanting to remain up in those clouds.. hence my late reply & thank you for your kind words.. ^_^
i may have to re-watch the pilot episode again very soon!

I'm revisiting some my favorite boards on here as we have only a few days before they are gone forever:(

I agree with BlackMickey, you express your love of this show beautifully & poetically!

Btw Natalichka, I don't know if you'd be interested in another show with Matt Bomer as the lead. It's an Amazon show, The Last Tycoon. It's quite amazing to see how he plays a character, so different than Neal Caffrey, with just as much elan!

But Peter/Tim can be/do or say very corny things..I.e. Neal is holding a Bible when he shot. Next thing you know the FBI moves in and makes all of the proper arrest..
Peter: " man down, man down" as Neal slowly gets up ( Bible stopped the bullet)
Peter:"you OK Neal"?
Neal: "yeah"( in so many words)..
Anyway it's hard to describe what I'm trying to say but his acting or whatever, but something is off
