Too long/slow? Needed an edit? (spoilers)

Watched this after a Texas Chainsaw documentary, where that was praised for the editing, and not having too much dialogue in the early scenes. X seemed to go the opposite way, with a bunch of unnecessary parts and lines. If you're really going to make a 70s/80s horror homage, 85 minutes is the way to go.

It really is slow paced. The last thirty minutes is when things get started.

I applauded the Porn chick for playing dual roles.. I had no idea she was the old woman too. The rest of the movie wasn't that good and hard to believe this is a Trilogy

I guess they wanted to get Pearl's story in too, so that made things a bit longer.
