In most space films, why do they always have the helmet lights on inside their helmets when they're outside of the spacecraft!
You've got him admiring the spectacular view from outside of the airlock door with his helmet lights blazing away into his face, and he just wouldn't be able to see anything. Yeah I know, it's in the script.
