This movie was way above expectations for me. very original and very well executed.

I see Chris Pratt doing some bigger roles. He has range.

I agree but for a different reason. I actually was intrigued watching the trailer for this and these 2 look to have great chemistry. Plus Lawrence looked to have a major major crush on Pratt on their interviews tbh.

But then reviews came in that it was lacklustre (same with Arrival actually), so I skipped this in the theatres because of those reviews. But I just watched it and thoroughly enjoyed it. I also liked Arrival.

Finally, a positive comment about this movie. I agree, it was excellent.

I thought this was a great movie as well. The only thing I didn't like was the tree at the end. That was a little too much.
