What are some great movies about undercover cops?
The Departed and Donnie Brasco come to my mind. Anything else that's worth a shot?

shareDo you mean the main story line is about cops or can they be part of the story and can they also be on the take? I ask because there are a lot of movies with various types of private eyes and narcs.
Here is a recent one about narcs that is very intense along the lines of this one.
Sicario (2015) 9/10
Here is another with multiple narc situations and intense like this one as well.
Traffic (2000) 8/10
No one can whine that this one doesn't have an 80s look and feel. Under cover agents tracking a major counterfeiter.
To Live and Die in L.A.(1985) 8/10

Books and movies are usually better than real life.
I kept comparing the Infiltrator to Donnie Brasco, and it came up way way short.
One great phenomenal undercover cop movie is Prince or the City. I rank it very high, higher than many of the usually acknowledged greats

Thanks for Narc suggestion - haven't seen it before and turned out a pretty decent flick.
shareYou're welcome. You might like We Own The Night, with J Phoenix, Wahlberg and R Duvall. I think it's flawed on a script level, but great performances and the good makes up for the so-so... Leaves a lasting impression.
