wtf re: coffin of blood

so pablo escobar knew where he lived - where he actually lived in his real life with his real family?? and it was all fine?? whether or not that actually happened it doesn't make a lot of sense within the film

reply

No he did not. Bob got the package from the Mail dropbox. Not the mailbox at his house.

reply

oh ok i must've missed that. still a poorly written and made film.

reply

Thanks for that, I was confused about that too.

reply

Actually it wasn't a drop box either: he collected the post in his office at the coverup air company: admittedly we get just a glimpse of some aircraft parked in the hangar when, after he picks up the envelopes, he opens the door.

reply

Yeah this was a major plot hole. His daughter brought him the package, so I assumed (like many) it arrived at his house, which would mean his cover is blown and his family is in real danger. But then he carried on as if nothing happened?

If the package did come from some "mail drop box"(?) sent to his alias, the film was so poorly directed that most people would not have noticed, or it would take a sharp eye to care about such a detail.

reply

His daughter brought him the package
He brought home the package and left on a small table in the living room. Later the daughter walked into the living room and found it, and we saw she rushed to tell him about the dripping blood.

All around a goofy deal, on top of being fictitious. Plus you're expected to believe that this package made it all the way (probably from Columbia) thru the postal service machines, getting tossed around dozens of times, but doesn't start leaking until his daughter happens upon it at home?
