You're not immortal as you ignorantly perceive. Deaths resulting from head trauma are nothing new. It doesn't happen all the time, but it's all about good or bad luck. Chloe was petite, so it's plausible that she landed on her head first and sequentially snapped her neck causing death.
Whatever. It's just an enjoyable film with fictitious events and nothing is meant to be taken literally, so chill out.
