Did they ever explicitly state them?

No.

There are no ages mentioned in the film, and the script only mentions ages in stories from the past.

I think Julianne Moore is about 53, and Amanda is going to be 28.

Julianne Moore and Amanda Seyried are exactly 25 years apart.

They share a birthday, though.
