shareYes. I think some of the connection to Catherine comes from Chloe's search for a mother figure. It may be Jungian.
As for Michael, Chloe's "love" is allegoric/symbolic. It is hard to sum up quickly, but Chloe shares her "love" with those that need it, such as Catherine and Michael; but Chloe never does sleep with David. Catherine no longer has love in her life because she is estranged from both husband and son. Michael is searching for love and is having a hard time finding it. For both, Chloe shows them that "true love" is more than a possibility.
