I know! I was so disappointed that they changed it up. If i remember correctly, in the film Jennifer Garner's character fantasized about what she should have said, but that's not how it was supposed to be originally. She was supposed to actually say the whole speech for real. I wish they hadn't modified it. The scene doesn't work as well as a result.
