True or False: The Dark Knight Rises (2012) was the last great comic book movie.
I personally think it was.
shareI personally think it was.
shareThe dark knight rises is a shit movie though.
shareIt was never a great movie. Aside from that, there have been great CBM movies since this one came out.
shareFalse!
shareIt sucked..
bump for the yucks
shareI'd say false for two reasons. First, I don't think it's a very good movie. It plods along, and the film's logic is inconsistent. It's a decent film at best. More significantly, however, is the fact that I think there have been a number of great comic book films made since then. All of the following films are better than The Dark Knight Rises, in my opinion, in every conceivable way: The Avengers, The Winter Soldier, Dredd, Deadpool, Guardians of the Galaxy, Civil War, Spider-Man Homecoming and Far From Home, Ragnarok, Logan, and Infinity War. And that's just off the top of my head.
shareIt's a very good movie that is very deep and thought provoking. To me it's easily the best comic book movie although it's followed closely by TDK.
shareDude, you've made your opinion very clear. Stop harassing other users and repeating the same thing again and again you colossal loser. Jesus Christ.
shareFalse. It had too many plot holes for a silly story.
Comic book movies aren't great. They're just popcorn flicks. Logan may be the best one made, but it still has a lot of silliness and it relies heavily on previous comic book movies as nd comic lore for non-comic book fans to enjoy.
Iron man my be the best after that. He was a lame character in the comics that was revitalized by the movie. The final. A guy fight was pretty silly.
I don't think so. It's a combination of outrageous plot holes and an attempt to treat all the goofiness as if it were serious and gritty realism...
I never was able to sit through it. I have seen it all in several separate sittings - From a combination of boredom and the sort of annoyance that made me want to strangle the writer.
