Women have their Oxygen and Lifetime Channels and men have their Spike TV. If you women are offended by this show then don't watch it because it aint for you. Just my second favorite film ever Beverly Hills Cop II is a Guys film, Blue Mountain State is for guys. Unless you women are attracted to the backup quarterback, the running back, or that obnoxious middle linebacker or you like football players or escapism TV, then stay away from this show and this board.

I love Blue Mountain State not only because it is too funny for words, but because it is about football (the best thing inevented since food) and it is escapism television. Thank You Spike TV and Lionsgate for this show. Spike TV fan For LIFE!!!!!!!!!!

Yes this is a great show to watch and I agree with you there that it is a guy show! It is a shame that SPIKE TV did not know how to use The Three Stooges in the right programming when they had it.

If I was in charge of the programming I would have set up like possibly on late Friday or Saturday night 2 full hours of Three Stooges shorts. Not them stupid trivia shows like they had it before.

alright, not trying to knock your opinion or anything, but you're generalizing.

i'm female and i wouldn't be caught DEAD watching oxygen or lifetime, or soap operas, or any other stuff like that. i watch sports, shows like csi and criminal minds, and horror action and/or comedy movies (no sappy ones). i don't watch any of this stuff because i'm attracted to anyone, i watch them because, to me, they are entertaining.

i have seen 2 episodes of this show, which i know isn't a lot to base an opinion off, but i like what i've seen so far. i am not offended by it at all (but then again it takes a lot to offend me anyways). also, i happen to think this show is funny, it actually had me laughing which not a lot of shows do, because i have sort of a weird sense of humor to begin with.

as a matter of fact, even the previews for this tuesday's episode had me cracking up, when the girl with no arms comes onto the field with the fake arms and thad screams like a little girl and runs away, i can't wait to see that episode.

Reason why I said chicks should stay away from this board because I haven't the time or the want to, to hear female rants like they do in a lot of other guy themed movies and TV shows' message board. The girl who actually likes this show good for you. But I don't need any more feminist crap in my life I get it almost everyday as it is in school on pubic transportation, family gatherings, etc. Give me a break.

okay, for starters, thanks. i do like the show (seeing as how i have been able to watch more episodes since i first posted). the only character i dont really like is denise though, she kind of gets on my nerves.

just a heads up, my first reply wasnt even "feminist" at all, i actually dont really give two flying you-know-whats about the whole male/female, men do this women do that, blah blah blah garbage. the whole point i was trying to make was that people (male or female) are all different.

however, and i know i am just pointing out the obvious here, but when you post something saying that people shouldnt like something because of their gender (or any other reason), you have to know that you are going to get a least a few negative responses. but then again, that happens with anything, because not everybody thinks the same.

if you dont want to waste time with the negativity, then you shouldnt read it. i dont pay any attention to people who just want to be negative, its not worth it. because trust me, i catch a lot of flak from pretty much everyone for some of the things that i do, but i do 'em anyway cause its my choice.

"You women?" My husband and I watch Lifetime and Spike. He will watch a Nanny or Golden Girls rerun with me and I'll watch Manswers or Blue Mountain State with him. Because we are appeasing each other? NO! Because we find it ALL hilarious! A well rounded sense of humor is quite good IMO.

If you find a good woman, you can share your tastes in TV/movies and expand your tastes in TV/movies. Win-win!

here something u should know about me. im a girl and im not into lifetime tv or the oxygen channel. i tried to catch up on this show as much as i can. because i like to see football college guys go crazy and like to see some good rauchy comedy. it that makes me a freak, then so be it. im sorry about my grammar if u have trouble understanding. im straight in case u were wondering.
