OMG THAD is SOoo Hilarious!!

First off sorry if there already is a thread like this, but i just starting watching the show and didnt want to see other spoilers....

Okay, i just started watching this show about a week or so ago, and i just starting watching season 3... Season 2 i felt was MUCH better than the first season .
Anyway, Thad is so so funny, the actor playing him Alan Richson ? is just beyond hilarious. IN the first few episodes he kinda annoyed me, but he has won me over and now i think everything he does is 'laugh out loud' funny.
I also don't really watch football, but i think the show is very very hilarious, pleasantly surprised !!, hope it keeps going.

in the episode where is also trying to be an actor is starting to be emmy good. But when i watched the intro episode i really thought that the running gag with him was that he was like "tobias Funke" in AD, that he was doing gay stuff without being gay, but that was toned down a bit.

He's really one of the most reliable characters in the show for great gags. Even when he doesn't have lines, his presence and facial expressions are just priceless. I mean, Thad is downright manic in his delivery, and then he suddenly switches to a Stiffler-esque cool confidence when he's going to do something rather evil. Just awesome.

I'm about halfway through season 2 on Netflix and can't wait to finish the rest of what's out there!

So did I. My first thought was he was going to be the meat head closet gay and all the jokes would be just that. But damn if the guy didn't turn out to be comic gold. I've never seen the actor in anything else I don't think but the guy just shines here. He's taken a pretty cliche jock and ran with it. That type of dumb jock has been done 1000 times over the last 50 years but he sure made it his own and even unique. Turned out to be the best character on the show.

I really doubt the show would have been half as good without him. Alex was great as the Van Wilder type, but Thad was a very key character after a few episodes.
