Don't call me Dando

One thing I've never figured out, in S02E07 with the guitar playing douchebag Dando. When he's pissy at the end of the episode, he says "Don't call me Dando" as he walks off. Do not get it. It seems like such a pointless line to include if his name wasn't a plot point in the first place. Anyone got any clues?

Most of the script doesn't make sense. It was probably just a failed attempt at being funny

That's the only line that ever struck me as being out of place.
