But I want it to so so bad. I've donated already, but after hitting over $200k in the first day, the strongest day of the kickstarter, it's struggling to pick up an additional $100k near the end of day 2. I really thought this would get fully funded as quick as Veronica Mars. Anyway, here's hoping the next month picks up another $1.2 million.

shareVeronica Mars had a lot longer to gain a big following after it's cancellation than BMS, so I would not base it solely on that. Todd and the Book of Pure Evil hit it's goal within it's last few days and it's probably just as known (maybe even a little less) than BMS, so there is still plenty of time for the BMS kickstarter to reach it's goal. I was unable to help with TatBoPE, but I threw down $20 towards BMS for the rather sweet pint glass and shot glass.

It's at $626,000 now, it'll be a stretch but if they can find a way to get some big promo for another push they could hit their goal. They should try recruiting some more NFL stars to promote it, maybe do a short with them to air on a big outlet on TV.
I'm surprised not even a minor studio will put a little money into this. A BMS movie even for people who have never seen the series would likely end up being a cult hit on DVD like Van Wilder.
