Everyone's ragging on Sammy/'Romanski'

Yeah, his character on the show gets obnoxious from time to time, but he actually has some good moments. And if it wasn't for this dude, you wouldn't have this show. Thad is a hilarious character, but who do you think wrote his jokes? Who do you think told him how he wanted that specific character portrayed? Chris Romano. He created these characters with certain ideas in mind & they're great. You guys need to chill out because it's not a huge deal, his character doesn't ruin the show, you're just being babies. Just enjoy it, there are other things wrong with the show but who cares if the jokes are funny & you like it then keep watching.

Yeah he created the characters and the show but he should stick to writing and directing and leave the acting to others.

I think he's a great writer. Very creative indeed. I heard he also writes for It's Always Sunny, another show I've come to enjoy. Some people are better at one thing than another. Since I haven't seen him act in anything other than BMS as Sammy I have no basis for comparison. But most of what I've seen of his acting in BMS leaves a lot to be desired....

I don't hate Sammy the character, but I don't love him either. Romanski has co-written six episodes in total and directed none. The pilot of a show is usually the creators vision from where a network decides to pick up the show as a series.

After the pilot a whole team and showrunners etc. are responsible for what we see and the actors are afforded more leeway to bring things to the character. He has co-written some great episodes, but the pilot which is usually the creator's sole vision did not have Chad the character acting in the way that we have come to love, thus I think even though some of the funny words may have been provided by Romanski, Alan Ritchson may have brought the mannerisms we have come to love.

I have no problems with the guy helping to create the show and write it. But he's not a natural actor, and the part that is written for him is always the most uninteresting and least funny.

Just cause he created the show doesnt mean that he has everything to do with its success. Yes he crate Thad, but you could see from the first episode to the sixth that the character changeed a little, originally he was more hard and less of a cry baby, which they found was more funny than just being mean.

Bottom line is, most dont like him as an actor (but I will say S3E3 was probablyhis best withthe girl and the annoying voice). but he still doesnt add anything to the show IMHO.
