shareI think she must be on trial for the murders of the two journalists and Nils Bjurman as well. The trial didn't seem to feature any testimony about any murders, just descriptions of Lisbeth's mental state. Even if she were a paranoid schizophrenic it doesn't mean she wasn't acting in self defence against her father, there's no way to prove it either way with no witnesses. I think the film fell down on this point.
The witness after Blomkvist did talk about the arrests of The Section, implying they were suspects instead of Lisbeth in the triple murder, so she was on trial for that too.
No, it's just for attempted murder of her father. At that point the police already knows they should look at Niederman in connection to the three murders.
