Fingerprints on the gun

At the ending trial, did they just completely forget about the fact that Lisbeths fingerprints were on the weapon used to kill three people.
Everything became about Teleborians report, which certainly needed to be dealt with, but what about those three murders.
They never bothered to prove Lisbeth wasn't the killer.
Did I miss something?

Lisbeth was found to be innocent of the murders by the police investigation, the final trial was all about Lisbeth's mental state, and SAPO, or a corrupt part of it, trying to get her re-committed to protect itself.

The prosecution pretty much relied on Teleborian's assessment of her mental state, and so the trial pretty much centered around it and Teleborian himself.
