Did Dr. Teleborian rape Lisbeth when she was young?

It seemed to allude to it throughout the movie, but I wasn't entirely sure.
Also when they stole his laptop it looked like he had old pictures of Lisbeth when she was restrained in the Asylum. I thought he was making money through his own website or something, but then it just seemed like he just had general illegal images.

No, he never touched her, but even when she was young, Lisbeth could tell that he got off on watching her tied up.

reply

I think he did touch her. In the flashbacks we see him sort of running his hand along her and everything. Plus, in the prison interview, he says something about physical intimacy between patient and therapist being a source of trust.

reply

In the book, it's very clear he did not.

reply

The movie did imply some kind of physical abuse or molestation, but wasn't explicit about it. In the book, it is clearly said that Teleborian only touched her forehead with his hand, and nothing more.

reply

I think Plague probably planted those images. When Teleborian opens his laptop, he looks shocked to see those images on there.

reply

Don't be ridiculous. Teleborian opened his computer & started looking at the porn & then Plague got the signal from Teleborian's laptop.

& For the record, Teleborian looked titillated, not shocked.

reply

Plague didn't plant anything and Teleborian didn't look shocked, he seemed he liked what he saw.

In the book he didn't touch Lisbeth as far as I recall, but yes, it is heavily implied in the movie that he went a bit further from his duties as a doctor.

"That was a courtesy flush. I'm not actually done yet"
