Heard this movie sucks

Going to see it tomorrow. Indie horror can be hit or miss with me, but I've heard it's a really trippy slowburn with some really gory moments. I'll report back if it's good or not.

Just got back from seeing it. It's was a decent indie horror film. Not scary, but certainly had some unsettling moments and even a few moments of really dark comedy that worked well. I didn't find it as gory or trippy as some people have said it is which let me down a bit. I think what kept me from enjoying it more was that towards the end it gets a bit too goofy and off the walls to the point it felt like it was just trying to be "out there" for the sake of it without any real substance. Might've been because this film had such a small budget and honestly needed a stronger story. Don't bother with it if you aren't a fan of more experimental and indie horror films because this certainly won't convert you, but I thought it was alright.

depends on what you expect. it's not a horror movie, more of a scifi mystery thriller (with a few gory scenes). a bit like 'annihilation'. i'd say it's ben wheatley's best film since 'kill list'.
