Ted Casablanca being just awful

Here's what he printed on his blog today:

We totally get it now, Kristen Stewart! With our mailbox overloading with questions about what really happened between the Twilight babe and her ex BF Michael Angarano, we were just as dumbfounded as the rest of you.

Well, until we saw the trailer for Michael's upcoming movie, Ceremony, where he stars opposite the fabulous Uma Thurman.

Let's just say, he comes up a little short of fab.

He is such a nugget!

Not to sound hugely superficial, but Michael looks like he could be Uma's stuck-in-puberty stepson, and from what we saw in this trailer, it doesn't look like his acting chops will help out with that height deficiency.

The flick, which hits theaters April 8, is about a much younger man—Michael's character—crashing the wedding of a thirtysomething woman he desperately wants back. It's an affair-ridden movie that would do wonders if it wasn't for Angarano's awkwardness.

In all seriousness, what woman in her right mind would leave her exotic, accent-sporting future hubby (Lee Pace) for that childlike creeper?

We totally get that the wedding crasher role was meant to be someone a little younger, but could director Max Winkler not find hunkier and more believable other man? Like, let's say Garrett Hedlund? He rocked that cougar-loving role in Country Strong. Even James Franco would have been a better choice! We'd even buy Justin Bieber in the role, for heaven's sake, more than Angarano.

Michael just doesn't do this sexy prewedding affair justice. Sorry, you two, we aren't buying any physical attraction in this one. Even Uma's award-winning talent can't save the amateur.

Not to mention, that slapfest mid trailer just looks like an incestuous mother-son argument. Gross.

Oh, and at the end, when Uma tells Michael's character to stop standing on his toes, so telling! K.Stew obviously didn't like him for the way he was (and couldn't really help).

Talk about an upgrade!

This is the scummiest thing I've ever read from Casablanca. Pimping his favorite subject of Kristen Stewart/Robert Pattinson by slamming Michael's career. I'll tell who deserves to be slapped, it's Ted Casablanca.

What a little dick. Mike Angarano looks adorabley cool yet still sadly awkward in the trailer, which appears to be the entire point of his character. I hate when morons judge movies so negatively, without even seeing them, and then spew their hate all over the internet. Unfortunately there are people who follow Ted (and other online gossips like Perez Hilton) like groupies and then spew the same trash as if its their own opinion.

You look like a sad clown hooker

Agreed. Agreed. Agreed.

I actually just saw the trailer and really want to see this movie now. Great cast, great acting in the scenes that were shown; feel like this could be a sleeper hit cause the writing and cast seem to both be really high quality, especially in Hollywood terms. But seriously, if Ted Casablanca likes Twilight over more original and creative films like Ceremony, that speaks more about him as a reviewer than it does about the films he reviews.

Angarano is one of the most underrated talented young actors in Hollywood and gets dismissed a lot as KStew's ex. Whoever that Ted Casablanca is, he is just like Perez Hilton and those other dumb celebrity bloggers who puts fame over talent and most likely can only bear to watch flicks like No Strings Attached and Valentine's Day. See he even watched Country Strong and liked it, that says a lot about his taste and standard of judgment.

And hello? That is the point of the film, Angarano's character is pining for an older and to-be-betrothed woman. Jesse Eisenberg was originally set to play the lead character, and he looks younger than Angarano, but I bet he wouldn't get the same backlash simply because he didn't date Stewart.

I'd love to hear from this Casablanca (is that his real name? how dare he smudge Casablanca's name?) when Ceremony becomes a surprise hit and maybe get an Oscar or Golden Globe nomination for both Angarano and Thurman.

Reported for SPOILER. Duh. You didn't need to give away the ENDING. Dip&*^%.

Casablanca is two things: gay, and oen of the most superficial people on this planet. He's bashing the actor for beign short becasue he, Casablanca, finds short men replusive. Give that he's gay, hsi attraction is to men, but apparently not short men. Imagine a superficial straight male reviewer bashing a female actor for being "too" (in his view) overweight for a role as a female in love with a very attractive guy, "Ooh, she's just too F@T, what man would find her attractive enough compared to...." But Casablancas is just over-the-top (goes without saying) about appearence all the time. He's worse than Joan Rivers. It's no surprise that he's going to bash men who don't fit his physical type/standards in a romantic role.

"We'd even buy JUSTIN BIEBER in the role.."

dude, SERIOUSLY??

First of all, Ted is out of his cliche-RomCom-loving mind. This movie looks fantastic, and Angarano is true talent. He and Kristin Stewart broke up how long ago? I have no idea why on earth it's still being talked about. It wasn't relevant when it happened, and it sure as hell isn't relevant now. It seems as if Ted is crucifying Michael for making a name for himself...and also being on the shorter side. According to him, being of less than average height means one deserves nothing in life. Shame on you, Casablanca.

And the idea of Garret Hedlund in Michael's role? Now that's truly laughable. See, Ted, those of us who enjoy quality films understand this brilliant casting. I'm going to go ahead and assume the basis of his character's casting is talent and undeniable charm. Not abs and carefully touseled hair.
Go watch The Last Song and get your fill of "Hollywood Hunk." Perhaps you think that Liam fellow would be great for this movie too.

I'm hardly a message board ranter, but this blog is absurd.
