Royal Tennebaums? More like Rushmore

I really liked this movie - but there were so many similarities with this and Rushmore.

Sam Davis is Max Fisher.

When I finished watching the trailer, Rushmore is what came to mind. The forced kiss, the slap, and the stumble fall... yeah Rushmore.
