First, it needs a distributor and a release date.
But I watched the little clip of it circulating. Thurman looks refreshingly good here, and she's usually not great in comedies. I say this as a big fan.
If a studio picks it up, I could maybe see some Globe noms.
I saw the film at Toronto. As whatbecame said, at the moment it doesn't have a distributor.
Oscar nominations are essentially bought. It's up to the distributor whether or not they want to spend the money to mount a campaign. It's more like running for office than anything else. It has nothing to do with what the public or press think. It's totally up to the company releasing it whether or not they want to pay for it.
