This reviewer claims they are barely better than the shit sequels to the original 😬

The Crow is a sluggish, overly self-serious gloomfest that never takes wing. Given the long string of directors and lead actors attached to the project over its 16 years of on-off development, the overworked, lifeless result should be no surprise. I suppose at least we were spared the Mark Wahlberg version.

13% on RT right now. I'm not someone who automatically thinks that just because the critics don't like a movie that it must suck, but this one really sounds like it does suck.

That's unfortunate. The Brandon Lee film was cool and I was interested in seeing another director give a new interpretation of the same story.
