shareIt was the late 80s, when boy bands like New Kids on the Block and Boyz II Men were starting to poison the music industry. For a period piece, it didn't do a very good job recreating the late 80s. Maybe it didn't want to. Too many anachronisms for me. Then again, most movies in the 2000s have sucked at creating the 80s atmosphere. Hot Tub Time Machine is another. This movie is just a caricature of the 80s.
