And I'm a Reeves fan.

no character development whatsoever

literally it's like they just said "lets make a generic Asian/samurai movie with Keuna Reeves

and throw in a few fireballs or whatever.
so bland, no soul whatsoever.

I`m thinking the same about the no soul part.That`s what you get for trying to buy soul with money.

I enjoyed it for what it is...a samurai based action flick...bag of popcorn and I am set. People are too harsh on films nowadays.
