how old is keanu reeves supposed to be??

so they wanted Keanu reeves in the movie but they couldn't say how many years later it was in the beginning when young kai becomes older Keanu reeves. he looks younger than his age so I guess he is supposed to be in his 30s??

reeves goes from teenager to 48 years old whilst all the other actors, look only a few years older. im lost already and its only been on for a few minutes wtf

Kai and Oishi are around the same age. Remember Lord Asano said something about them both being children when Kai was found in the stream?

Oishi's son Chikara seemed at least 25 years old. So assuming Oishi and Kai were at least 20 years old when Chikara was born, that would make them at least 45 years old. Since Oishi was 2nd in command to the Daimyo, the head Samurai, seems like he'd be at least 50 years old.
