Problem is that it actually believes it's not a silly B-movie..
and instead that it's as Oscar-worthy as the Last Samurai which it so obviously and desperately wants to become. That said, I found it to be a guilty pleasure and I loved Rinko Kikuchi in this. She was so hilariously evil when she spoke her lines while scowling at everyone. In an instance of outright immaturity, I wanted her to make out with the princess in that scene she's on top of her.
