Should I watch 46 Ronin first to understand this?

1-45 ronin are pretty lame but yeah 46 ronin is required viewing or you'll be lost when you watch 47 ronin.
shareI think you are being a bit facetious. 1 Ronin is clearly required viewing to get the overall story. After that, really, only 2, 7, 14, 28 and 35 are really required.

2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, & 43 before watching 47 Ronin. I'm not sure why but those seem like prime viewing.
