Just watched it and..

I’m scratching my head. Seeing it at 6.4 in reviews and hearing the large amount of hype had me somewhat anticipating this movie. I have to admit the trailer looked good .

Ultimately this is a nice looking cgi gore-fest. That’s pretty much it. I didn’t dislike the characters but didn’t like them either - I was indifferent towards their fate.. that’s never good lol. I didn’t find it remotely scary or creepy in the least and honestly laughed at a few parts that weren’t supposed to be comical .

So I dunno I guess a sequel has been greenlit but I question where they can take it..? I find I’m just beyond tired of the zombie genre - there’s very little left to do in this genre. I hope someone proves me wrong
