it would have been cool if the modern evil dead movies were sequels to the original 'the evil dead' only. They would be about where the book ends up 40 years later and who releases the evil etc... then ash as he would be after the final shot of the evil dead could show up in one of them. it would give bruce an opportunity to play a new different version of evil ash.
