So, at the end, where did the polaroid come from? I know, the thief who went into hiding, but how did he get it in the first place? I didn't see any time when he would have had a chance to grab it.
Also, what was going on with the pay phone scene with him calling multiple rental agencies? He already found out that she had reserved a car. I was completely lost during that scene.

Warwick probably put the picture in the guy's pocket as a final slap in the face after dumping him with the garbage.
The reason why he called the other agencies is because while he went to the rental place like they agreed to and there was a reservation in her name, he knew that she was going to skip town on him since she told the cops his real name when she was first questioned. And since she was the only one to know his real name and was his accomplice/lover it was basically the equivalent of turning him in to the cops.
He called the other agencies because he knew she would probably abandon the agency that they planned on, leaving him to wait there and her never coming, while she skips town using another car from another agency with all the cash.
I thought John might've pocketed the Polaroid after he looked at it. Warwick was busy with his "guests" anyway.
