I see the Ray Liotta thread, but I think it's interesting no one has mentioned Ricky Schroder yet. I think it's because most people remember him as a blonde. Forget about his hair color and forget about Silver Spoons, the older Ricky Schroder looks a lot like the John Taylor character. I see Liotta too, so I think John Taylor (Clayne Crawford) is definitely a mixture of Rick Schroder and Ray Liotta.

It did cross my mind while watching the movie that he he resembled Rick Schroder. But Ray Liotta? No, not once, not even when people point out that he resembles him.
