What the *beep* ? Crazy ass twist. I seriously never saw it coming. David Hyde Pierce's character was a luteninant for the police. But what still confuses me if whether or not he was actually a killer. Because he has those pictures and etc. but he didnt kill John. But at the end when he fellow police officer is "invited" to his house, i assumed he was going to kill him. Was John a special exception because of the chess game ?

I thought the ending sorta petered out, but I'd guess he'll drug & torment Det. Morton, then let him off with a threat to expose his heavily implied gambling problem.

It's also possible that we're seeing the Warwick's final fall, but that wouldn't be as interesting or consistent with the actual ending.

I also don't think he killed the last victim either - he just knows he can terrorize these guys into silence. Taylor was the first one bright enough to strike back.

warwick didn't kill john because he wanted the money and knew john would
lead him to it.

I don't think he was a killer at all. He used makeup. I agree that he wanted the money though.

Agree. I thought at the very least the film should have ended with Warwick walking off with the money. As it stands the ending just didn't deliver. How did John get the photo? What was Warwick planning to do at his next dinner party? Its not like a police officer can just go missing with his car last seen at Warwick's house. Is Warwick planning to leave the country and follow 'Julia' (which imho would have made sense but you can't take that much cash through customs for sure)?
