What a coincidence!

Somehow John comes across the home of the cop that's working his case?! Really?

Then to top it off, the cop is looney, a makeup artist in his past life AND maybe on the homosexual side...

I just feel that they should have stuck with one weird turn and just flow with that. Smh

The makeup thing is really messing with me. I just don't get how that plays with the entire movie.

Did he mail himself a postcard and write it himself? What?!

Why didn't John give more details about his capture by the cop when he sent the pic? If you're going to go through sending the pic why not send details to warn what type of evil, sadistic person this cop is on their payroll?

Yes. While I didn't get the homosexual reference, I agree with everything else. There are too many holes and forced plot devices in this film. Perhaps it would've been more successful with less suspension of disbelief.

I can agree with both of the comments above ^^. But, I think this film was made to be fun and just straight entertainment. Not to make you think, or analyze the plot. It also allows room for the viewers to put their own interpretation.

I was loving it until the last part - the make-up revelation and the cop revelation. To me it seemed so odd, almost as if another writer came in and said 'yeah this is cool and everything, but Imma go on and change everything now'.
