One of the most quietly disturbing films I have ever seen.
I liked it( if the word liked is proper here) but definitely not for everyone.
Excellent cast but even in such a cast Ms Mulligan is, once again, a standout.
I agree. I've watched it three times now and I love it more with each viewing. It has an eery charm to it, and although the subject matter is difficult, there is something about it that completely engages me. The acting is fabulous, and the cinematography just right.
