I always thought the same. I was really hoping that at least ONE of the THREE friends would have come across one of their "actual people" (their originals).
shareI wrote this in another thread, but I don't think they have originals. I think it's more likely that they are clones the same way some lab mice are clones. They are reproductions of genetic lines of specimens who have been developed over time to have the right characteristics (popular blood types, free of genetic diseases, docile temperament, hardy physiques) to allow the system to get the most use out of them. Their make up probably comes from a variety of sources who may all be long dead. However, they wouldn't be told that.
