That scene where he's talking to Kathy about the gallery and proving love..what was it that Tommy said to Kathy about why he and Ruth wouldn't work? I watched it several times and really can't make out what he said.
Does anyone know?
He said (as far as my neo rt serves me) 'it wouldn't work. You forget, you got loads of work into the gallery but I didn't get anything at all in.'
By 'you' i suppise he could possibly mean both Kathy and Ruth or even be referring to their group of friends. I take it as him hinting towards the fact it's Kathy he'd need to apply with.

Tommy looked down and said 'you forget, you got lots of things into the gallery but I got nothing into it' or something to that effect. Essentially it was the word 'you' which inferred that he was in love with Kathy and not Ruth.
Oh no, I actually tried to correct it at the time. Ok where's the delete function? haha.
