Too little information in the movie (spoilers)

Its a good movie..original story line..but it dissapointed me because it could be much much better..there is lacking everywhere,not enough elaboration..i never had read the novel,so im struggling to understand it..i cant feel enough "love" between Kathy and Tommy especially with Andrew's awful perfomance..it just too short before Tommy died..too little story about their friendship..it does'nt make it hard to accept their lives are completed by death..i dont cry a single tear.. and i laughed hard at the fact if only art can prove u have a soul..

Just my opinions though..😃

I think less is more when it comes to their relationship. It's important that they didn't have much of one. They were denied the life and love they were supposed to have. Had they enjoyed many long and happy years together, where's the tragedy?

When I picked up the video, after reading the book, I was a little surprised to see that it was only 1 hour and 44 minutes long. Yeah, I think it would have been better if it had been longer and they had shown more of the relationships.
