Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a voyeur...so what else?

I find it hard to fathom why the producers of this film went for the full-creepo look at Hillary Swank's landlord when we as an audience are given absolutely no context to his character. I mean this guy literally just sees Hillary Swank's character in the hospital for 5 seconds & suddenly he's already stalking her every move? Plus why aren't we lead to believe this guy is a serial killer? I mean the way this freak was acting why didn't Hillary discover a bunch of other female corposes in the basement or something? That's where this film falls flat, none of the characters are explained enough & we are just expected to understand any of their motivations?

Shoot him again...his soul is still dancing!

There's plenty wrong with being a voyeur. They're damn peeping Toms. It's a male fantasy that women want to be watched when we think we're alone and when changing clothes or taking a bath/shower. How would you like it if you found out that someone had been secretly watching every moment of yours that you thought was private and you assumed you were alone? Do you fantasize being watched when you change clothes or are in the bathroom? I doubt it. The reality is a voyeur is a pervert and it's creepy to secretly watch someone like that.

I've already seen the worst movie ever made, so it can only be uphill from there.

I think it sounds like you've watched way too much porn.

He's not JUST a voyeur; he's also an anti-social lunatic. I agree that they could have offered more context (the stalker montage early in the movie felt way too left-field), but once you accept that he's a maniac, it's a great thriller.

I loved how they would show you something creepy that crosses the line, like the injection and the finger-licking, and then reveal that it was actually been going on much longer than you first thought, and to a much greater extent.

The tape reveal should have been more shocking than it was. It was pretty much all handled very dutifully and tamely, not for shock value, which is what this film needed to overcome the lack of exposition.

He wasn't just a voyeur- he drugged her and filled her up with his man-goo.

He was a fully multi-dimensional character; an anti-social/pervert/voyeur/creep/stalker/psycho/rapist/cold-blooded killer, each one worst than the next
