OMG I know!!! I thought I was the only one who noticed this but they really just showed her undressing and such throughout the whole movie A LOT. I think it was a (failed) ploy at getting more people to see this....too bad the director forgot that not many guys are attracted to her. But as a female, I was like "oh, there she goes again, undressing, wtf!"

Jim: Maybe it's in the ceiling.
Andy: You know what, maybe you're in the ceiling.

Exactly, it was such a cliche, sell-out move. There are ways of showing his voyeurism without showing us her ass every two minutes. And what an odd choice of female lead if they were planning on doing that from the beginning. Hilary Swank? You'd think they'd pick someone more conventionally hot considering how split the public opinion of her is.

It was the only good part of the movie that made it worth sitting through. Otherwise the movie was predictable crap.

But the odd part of her nudity was most of it seemed strategically covered in steam! Almost like an editing for television.
If you're going to be nude in a film, either show your hot body or cover it up!

Swank...not interested. What I don't get is the weird standing on tiptoe thing. We see, from his perspective, just her feet after her bath, and she's apparently doing some ballet thing or something that requires her to never set her feet flat on the ground. Strange.

True enough.

Though the director would probably justify it as trying to get us into the head of the bad guy, by making us the voyeur. Or something artsy like that.
