did they every show what happened to him?

It weakens us to not give our enemies the respect they deserve...

When Hilllary tries to get out through the window (was it the attic?) in the room with the heavy steel door, she opens a door and we see a bloody, dead boyfriend falling out. So that's what happened to him (although we don't see him getting killed).

I was not sure if was dead or unconscious. I would lean towards he was still alive because if I remember correctly he was tied, why tie up dead man.

It's implied that he's dead.

He was still dripping blood from his mouth. That suggests his heart was still pumping. So, not dead, IMHO.

...it's just another dumb film, get over it.
