It's obviously a stupid movie, but I'm going to watch it at some point. I like some stupid movies.

That was my first thought too but I noticed they gave a little nod to this fact in the scene where Sandra's character is leaving the motel during her book tour. A big banner in the foyer said "Romancing The Page" ;)
