A pattern I have noticed with RM shows
The first 2 or 3 seasons are usually great then season 4 is so so then season 5/6 is when it gets awful.

shareYeah that's a pattern everyone's noticed with his shows. It's because he's not capable of sticking with them long-term, his interest goes, he leaves, show tanks.
shareIndeed. I would consider season 5 of Glee (With the exception of the emotional "Quarterback" episode.) to be just about up there with the final season of Roseanne.
shareYeah they start of great because he is actually present and works on the show. Then that show gains huge success and he moves on to the next. Happened to Nip/Tuck, Glee, AHS...
sharePopular was never great. Merely okay.
Nip/Tuck was trashy fun for two seasons. Unwatchable after that.
Glee was good for half a season. Somewhat watchable as bad tv for everything after that up until the midway point of s4
New Normal was terrible from the word go.
AHS follows your theory though.
In your opinion. I loved the majority of Popular, Nip/Tuck, Glee and AHS (never watched New Normal. Im just saying that the quality usually decreases as the show age, and sometimes a lot. But it seems like you hate the majority of his shows
shareTotally agree with all of your opinions.
shareHe takes on another project and leaves the old ones behind to crash and burn
