Best Animated Superhero Movie Ever

Vs Wolverine 10/10

It exceeded all my expectations and then some. Never thought i would see an adult themed Marvel animation. Wasn't expecting to see the X-men rouges either which was great. My only complaint was that it wasn't long enough. They did the same Hulk 181 story in episode 7 of the new Wolverine and the X-Men cartoon for anyone who would like to see some more Hulk Vs Wolverine.

Vs Thor 8/10

Thor has never been my favorite Marvel character but it was an enjoyable movie. This had more of a plot and less "Hulk Vs". The animation was also slightly better than the Wolverine segment but it didn't have the coolness factor or the adult themed blood and gore. Still enjoyable.

All in all i would give them a combined 9/10 and can't wait to pick this up on Blu-ray. Hopefully they do another Hulk Vs after the next two movies. I wouldn't mind seeing Hulk Vs Silver Surfer if they can get the rights back from Fox.

What? Vs. wolverine didn't even have the proper climactic end fight. and please don't tell me the blood gore sold it for you because that would mean you're like 10 or something. AND ALSO, if you want a very good Animated Super Hero Movie go watch Justice League the Final Frontier. Now that is and insanley awesome hero movie. Plenty of blood and gore a well if thats your thing.

You ever heard of someone having an opinion? That was mine.

The ending was perfect. That's the thing about Hulk and Wolverine. Hulk just gets angrier, Wolverine heals and never gives up. They can go at it for days. I loved it because i own all their match ups in the comics (Hulk 181, 340, 8, etc) and it was great to finally see it animated, not because of the blood and severed limbs (although that was nice too).

It is... great little animated film.

i can't give this a 10, HERE'S WHY:

1. Wolverine is put in a glass tube. Once when he doesn't have claws yet (i get that one, he can't get out of the tube because he doesn't have the metal claws yet) BUT HOME COME HE DOESN'T BUST OUT OF THE TUBE THE 2nd TIME WHEN DOES HAVE CLAWS?

2. Wolverine has always had his healing factor, and the movie doesn't say that that fact has changed, but when he is taken by Weapon X, how come they are able to knock him out for a car ride with just the butt of a rife???

reply

I still think the top spot belongs to Batman: Mask of the Phantasm but if this were a full length feature, it would blow that out of the water. This feels more like an hour long episode of a new Wolverine cartoon.

reply

1 Logan always had claws even before weapon X
2 his healing factor does nothing to keep him from getting knocked out plus if u pay attention he was drunk/drugged when that happened.

that depends on the writer. even he has is limits. anything in large enough amounts can take atoll on him. he has been drugged many times. and dont forget this is not the comics so his powers and abilities do not have to match up perfectly. look at the scene again he is clearly staggering around when he comes out

reply

I guess your right.

The writers must of forgot about it.

i concur, fantastic *beep* movie, and i normally don't say that about animated movies. I mean, starting from gotham knights onwards it seemed to of been getting crappier and crappier, as it was followed by the new frontier ( holy *beep* man, that was the gayest movie ive ever seen. Martian manhunters line at the last battle really took the cake on this one, and i really like martian manhunter! <black ring, ill leave it at that >) not to mention most of the dialogue between a lot of the heroes were pretty poorly done ) and the next avengers ( im not even going to go into this, as i saw it as well ), this is a breath of fresh air.

finally, a more adult movie. i couldn't be any happier.

Dudes, without doubt this a great movie. Some great action and gore.

But if u wanna see something equal to it or maybe better, see 'Superman: Doomsday'. That fight is the best fight I've ever seen in my life.

Without question, the Hulk VS Wolverine feature is THE best 35-40 minutes of any superhero animation of all time. That fact can't even be argued at this point.

Good call and ratings by OP.

Vs Wolverine is as 10/10 as it gets.

Vs Thor was good but Thor was taken out too easily. (8/10)

reply

Still Marvel's best to date. The Wolverine portion is also the best animated short film ever made.
