Too much action
Not enough story. I am not trying to be a troll or anything, it's just how I felt after watching it. It was still good, but it's better to rent than it is to buy.

What happens when we combine?
It's a cartoon, the action BORES me when it is happening every other minute. They want to sell this to OLDER audiences since it is PG13, so why not have some genuine drama that can make me CARE about the action?
Oh yeah, I forgot, their audience is knuckle dragging apes like you guys.
They do have a point. The whole premise behind this was just the fights which is one reason both are so short. They do not have time to develop anything more. The Wolverine one was just the fights and once again telling Wolverine's origin. Half an hour it not really enough time to develop anything more. Why would you expect something different. Their audience was the "knuckle dragging apes" you so insultingly refer to which is unnecessary. Its like going to a Michael Bay film and complaining that it is not an art film.
I will say you do have something more of a point with the Thor one. The extra length was intended to develop a bit more of a story. And you are right in failed in this point. The fights with the Hulk were too long and too one-sided to be of any interest. The writers tried to have a few moments where Thor or Banner hint at something more, but the writers do not bother going into anything deeper so that comes off as a waste of time.
Because it's a cartoon.

I agree they were two 40 minute cartoons not a lot of character and plot development could have been done anyway.
