This show has fart jokes in the same sense that South Park has fart jokes. And if you don't think South Park is funny, I simply have nothing more to say to you.

Fart jokes aside, Children's Hospital is -no- South Park by orders of magnitude.

I sat through both seasons. At the end, I was really just doing it to finish the show... Even though I also like some of the cast members, the acting is mediocre for the most part, and the clown outfit is way over the top and turned me off immediately. So did Mr. Cordry's acting. And I agree with the reviewer - watch Dark Place - same concept, executed well; no clowns.

I also found the jokes few and far between. There's a bit of good sarcasm, and the chicks are cute.. However, it doesn't a show make.

Both Delocated and Children's Hospital should've never been purchased and renewed. I'd prefer if they spent the money on new Aquateen episodes or another season of PFFR's Xavier, which was truly hilarious and I've watched every ep a dozen times :)

4/10 for my 2 cents.. It has something but not enough of it, and overshoots the mark.

okay okay, it's not cool to hate Dane Cook anymore, didn't u get the memo?

Everybody went thru this phase where he was over-exposed so it became hip to not like him, we get it... but u don't; which makes sense that u don't get the subtle characteristics that makes "Childrens Hospital" great:

How it's directed, how the actors deliver their lines, or how a character can come back from the dead like nothing happened(which would appear to be lazy writing until you understand that each episode is more-or-less self contained and doesn't even have the desire to be consistently congruent.)

It's more about making sure that each episode is set up to make the jokes work, no matter what happens to the big-picture of the show.

i dunno, maybe ur just too cool for school, buddy. cuz, it Just got renewed for it's 3rd season and it's one of Adult Swim's highest rated show. So, either ur wrong or the majority of Adult Swim viewers are.

It took a while for this grow on me, but I love it now. Rob Huebel especially steals the show for me, I love how over-dramatic his delivery is.

i watched 3 episodes and couldn't handle any more. south park can be funny, but it is because the type of animation can be done so quickly they can stay on top of pop culture references. this show is less south park and more family guy. as in if you have nothing to say, just have a guy fight a chicken for 5 minutes and call it comedy.

You have to give it at least 4. And watch it with half a brain. Using a full brain is like driving a Lamborghini across the street to the grocery store, or a MacBook Pro to browse the web.

Wait. Nope, just what.

That's all.

...ok, where did this come from? While I don't like Dane Cook's comedy and I do like Childrens Hospital, why drag theists' beliefs into this?

...

I think it depends on the episode(cause some are way better than others cause they try everything) and your willingness to not care about story. I think its a good way to make a lot of adult jokes in a small condensed time that a normal tv show wouldnt allow. It is absurd but full of laughs for me and my friends. I think you can learn to appreciate it for what it is, A parody similar to Airplane or others like it.

Some shows like Family guy make a living out of small bursts of quick jokes. Others go for a complete story like classic Simpsons. I think they both have their merits, the sexual identity show and the one with the advanced aging are hilarious to me.

I like pretty much every show on adult swim (yes even perfect hair forever) but this show is so unfunny. Being offensive is worthless if you're not funny.

I didn't realize this was such a love it or hate it show. I love it, but, if you don't, I can understand that. Although, I don't think the comedy is fart jokes. Like someone said earlier, it's parodying Grey's Anatomy, and Rob Corddry is making fun of Patch Adams. I really have no idea what Dane Cook or theism has to do with this argument though.

Either you like absurdism like Childrens' Hospital, Wet Hot American Summer, The Ten, Sarah Silverman Program, Stella, Human Giant, Upright Citizen's Brigade, hopefully Jon Benjamin has a Van, etc. or you don't. Either it is for you or it isn't, that is your choice.

Although personally, someone NOT liking this kind of thing sounds like a really bland and boring person who I would probably not enjoy hanging out with.
