Downhill

What happened to this show? This latest season hardly seemed similar to its' earlier hilarious seasons. There lacked a consistency in the actors and the storyline (although I'm well aware that a show like this owes no continuity to the viewers), and it seemed like rob corddry was throwing a bone to some of his actor friends in some of these episodes (British hospital to name one). The quality of the camera shots have significantly improved, and although this could be a realistic take on Corddry parodying the increasing quality (visual wise) of doctor shows over multiple seasons, I didn't like it. Glenn Richey and Rob Hubel needed to be more present in the season, but at this point in the show, they probably had too much going on to fully commit to Children's (what with Ken Marino's burning love, which isn't nearly as funny as children's, probably because its being presented to pop culture divas who watch E! Instead of the stoners and geeks that watch adult swim). But overall I wasn't as amused with children's this year, and I hope it picks back up on its earlier magic in the next season.
