Is this movie an indictment of George Lucas by StarWars Fanboys or is it a study of fanboism?
If it's the former... Really?! Are people THAT attached to these children movies that they'll make an oedipal polemic against it's "father"?
I wonder, in this "Last-Jedi-raped-my-childhood" moment, if this phenomena of fanboism should be examined more seriously.... I would love to see Werner Herzog or someone tackle this subject and to view this closely, but through a non-fanboy lens... Could raise interesting questions about the anthropology of fanboism as well as more surprising philosophical and spiritual questions...
