Orig. Star Wars/Library of Congress

I heard from somebody that the Library of Congress wanted a preservation print of STAR WARS in its unaltered form, but Lucas wouldn't provide it. Instead they had to buy a 35mm print off Ebay or something. Anybody know more about this?

I have no idea.

You'd probably be better off, if you haven't done it already, asking the same question on the general Star Wars forum.
